Shit- I thought Kindergarten would be a breeze. Not only does she have effin’ books with words I learned in high school and math equations I still haven’t learned, today I spent my entire day gathering enough fruit to feed a small village to make fruit kabobs for her Easter brunch. Don’t get me wrong, Haydan and I had a blast… However, I had to explain to my husband how one person could possibly spend $80 on fruit when he was scanning our bank account this evening… Then I find out at 6pm there are parents who didn’t sign up for anything for tomorrow’s brunch and there are still things they need! I end up signing up for two pounds of bacon and send Justin out as I look at my kitchen and ponder how I could possibly make the mess worse. I now have grease in my hair, a sticky floor from 33 variations of fruit, and my ENTIRE house smells like bacon. Okay, so the last one isn’t so bad.
